This photo is from my trip last year to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee. The Great Smoky Mountains have a rich diversity of wildlife. Some of the species that can be seen include black bears, elk, deer, bobcats, foxes, coyotes, red wolves, wild boars, and lots of birds. Many deer can be seen in the meadows and woods throughout Cades Cove. They're used to the presence of humans and this makes it easy to get fairly close for photos. I won't recommend getting too close to the black bears especially when they have cubs as they have attacked a few visitors to the Cove.

So beautiful!! My family is from the Ky/Tn Line - Most still live in McCreary or Somerset..Lexington Kentucky but I do have a few in the Nashville Area. Some day, I plan on visiting the Smoky Mountain Area..
I think I'm the only one in my family that hasn't been there.
Great shot.
Beautiful photo. You're lucky to get such a close shot!
These are animals of grace and style. You've captured those things well.
Thanks for stopping by Florida Fotos!
A picture to be proud of - I think I would frame it and look at it every day.
oh wow!!
I'm jealous...either of your ability to get close enough for this shot, or your ability to have a lens long enough to get the shot from a distance! :0) Seriously, this is a great shot and a wonderful contribution to this week's Sunday Scenery.
A lovely capture, how pretty!
I feel so peaceful looking at this shot. Nice.
An ambience to die for. Such a scene is good for the soul. Lovely work. Simply delightful.
What a beautiful, tranquil picture. I thought at first, this might be a statue of a deer.
